Post Incident Analysis - Public Forums
The independent risk management and strategy consultancy service appointed to investigate the response to the November 2011 Margaret River bushfires is seeking input from local community members. Two forums are being held in the region to allow members of the public to provide Noetic with feedback on the agency response to the bushfires.
All members of the public are invited to attend.
Margaret River Public Forum - Sunday 29 April , 2 pm – 5.00 pm, Council Chambers, Margaret River
Nannup Public Forum - Saturday 28 April, 9.30 am – 12.30 pm, Shirley Humble Function Room (Behind Shire Office Building), 15 Adams St, Nannup

Post Incident Analysis - Seeking Community Input
The independent risk management and strategy consultancy service appointed to investigate the response to the November 2011 Margaret River bushfires is seeking input from local community members. The public submissions will be used to inform the report by Noetic Solutions Pty Ltd on actions and decisions of the Department of Environment and Conservation, the Fire and Emergency Services Authority, and the Shire of Augusta-Margaret River.

Financial Assistance for Margaret River Residents
The Margaret River Financial Assistance Package has been established by the Government to provide support for affected property owners dealing with uninsured or not fully insured losses.
Conservation Volunteers - come and get involved!
Over April - May, Conservation Volunteers are joining forces with the Shire, Cape to Cape Catchment Group, SouthWest Catchment Council, local residents and DEC to help prepare fire damaged land for rehabilitation. You can join the volunteer team for 1 or 2 days or for the whole week. Click here for more details.
