Youth Advisory Council (YAC)
In 1993, the Shire conducted an investigation into the needs of local youth. The study highlighted key areas such as transport, recreation and social activities, education, training and employment opportunities.
In an effort to tackle some of these issues head on, a YAC was formed. Since this time the YAC has, and will continue, to address the findings and recommendations of the report in proactive and constructive ways.
