Consulting with the community

Consulting with the local community is an important ingredient of a successful local government. We use a number of different methods to consult with all our stakeholders which includes community surveys, customer service surveys, focus groups on particular topics, question time and public forums at council meetings, receiving petitions and complaints and our regular Community Update which has the latest Shire information.

These opportunities enable the community to have their say in the future of the Shire as well as provide valuable feedback to us on what we are doing well and how we can improve.
