Public question time and public forums
The public are able to address Council through Public Question Time or Public Forums.
For inclusion on the meeting Agenda, all requests for public forums must be made in writing at leasst 72 hours before each council meeting. Requests must be addressed to the CEO, but attentioned to the Governance Officer.
The guidelines for Public Forums are five minutes per forum, with maximum of three speakers per forum and a maximum of three public forums per meeting, unless otherwise authorised. Forums previously presented will not be repeated.
