Rebates and deferments
This is applicable to Rates and Emergency Services Levy only, with all other charges are to be paid in full.
How do I apply for a concession?
To receive a concession the owner must hold a valid Pensioner Concession Card; Veterans Affairs Card; Commonwealth Seniors Health Care Card or a Seniors Card. Check the Water Corporation website for more information regarding eligible cards.
You can only claim a concession on one property in any one financial year, being the property owned and occupied as your primary place of residence on 1 July.
Register your entitlement or change of details online at www.watercorporation.com.au or call the Water Corporation on 1300 659 951 (for both Shire and the Water Corporation) entitlement. If your property is not serviced by the Water Corporation, you can still register your entitlement for a concession for your shire rates. A pro-rata concession may be applied from the date application is received and registered for those who become eligible after 1 July of the rating year.
