Customer Service Centre

The Shire of Augusta Margaret River provides customer service delivery at our Margaret River Civic Administration Centre (CAC) and Augusta Office between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday (Augusta Office is closed between 12 noon - 1pm).

We strive to provide services at a consistently high standard and to the best of our ability, for the ease and convenience of our customers.

Customer service charter

The Shire of Augusta Margaret River is an Agency for the Department of Transport (DoT).    When you attend the Margaret River CAC or Augusta Office with a DoT enquiry, please remember to bring one form of Primary Identification (ID) with you listed below.  More ID may be required for specific transactions.

  • Australian Drivers Licence or Learners Permit card; or
  • WA Photo Card; or
  • Australian or New Zealand Birth Certificate; or
  • Australian or Overseas Passport.

Telephone enquiries: - The Shire is an agent for DoT only and this means Customer Service Officers aren’t permitted to discuss any licensing enquiries or transactions over the phone.  Please come into the Margaret River CAC or Augusta Office with identification or contact DoT direct on 13 11 56.

Driving - Computer Theory and Hazard Perception Test Bookings – We can assist customers with Computer test bookings and enquiries, please phone the Margaret River CAC on 9780 5255 or our Augusta Office on 9780 5660.

Driving – Practical Driving Assessment bookings – Must be booked in person, or by contacting DoT directly on 13 11 56.
