We provide a number of options for paying rates, invoices and infringements:

In person
Payments can be made by cash, cheque or EFTPOS at Town View Terrace Margaret River or Alnutt Terrace, Augusta. Cashier Hours - Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 4.00pm, excluding Public Holidays. Augusta office is closed from 12 noon - 1pm daily.
By mail
Post cheques or money orders to Shire Augusta-Margaret River PO Box 61 Margaret River WA 6285.
Cheque or money order payments are to be made payable to Shire Augusta Margaret River and crossed "Not Negotiable".
Tear off the payment slip at the bottom the Rates or Invoice, or a copy of the Infringement, and include with your payment.
By phone
Please have your Assessment number or Invoice number or Infringement number ready, located in the top right hand corner of the Notice. Only Mastercard or Visa are accepted.
- Bpoint Payment Service: Call 1300 276 468. This is a 24 hour service.
- Shire Customer Service Centre: Call 9780 5255 Margaret River office or 9780 5660 Augusta office, between 8.30 am and 4pm Monday to Friday.
Over the internet
Pay through BPoint. You will need the Assessment number or Invoice number or Infringement number. Reference numbers and Biller code are located on the bottom of the notice.
Bpay
Pay through through BPayand your financial institution. Reference numbers and Biller code are located on the bottom of the notice.
Fees and Charges
Council reviews its fees and charge annually.
