Feral and pest animals

The control of feral and pest animals is an ongoing problem, which Rangers are having to deal with at an increasing rate.

Feral cats pose a significant risk to native wildlife, and property owners have an important role to play in the overall control effort.

Rangers assist and advise property owners in the control, trapping and eradication of feral and pest animals, e.g. cats, rabbits, foxes etc, liaise with CALM, Agriculture Western Australia, RSPCA and local vets, provide trap hiring services to the public, and provide advice regarding the humane trapping and disposal of feral and pest animals
