Keeping and welfare of cats
As there are currently no Local laws in relation to the keeping of cats, it is still the owner’s responsibility to ensure there cat/s does not wander, or be a nuisance.
It is also important as a responsible cat owner that care and welfare of the cats need are met.
Council is currently considering introducing Local Law for cats. Information will be advertised in the Local newspapers and website if adopted.
