SCHEME AMENDMENT NO. 57 TO LOCAL PLANNING SCHEME NO. 1

Notice is hereby given that the local government of the Shire of Augusta Margaret River has prepared the abovementioned Scheme Amendment for the purpose of:
Rezoning portions of Lots 1 – 20 and Common Property (CP) Lots 21, 22 and 23 on Survey-Strata Plan 45225, Cowaramup Bay Road, Cowaramup from ‘Cluster Farm’ to ‘Priority Agriculture’ and portions of Lots 1 – 20 on Survey-Strata Plan 45225 from ‘Cluster Farm’ to ‘Residential’ with a density code of ‘R5’ and amending the Scheme Maps accordingly;
Applying a new restricted use designation RU18 over portions of CP Lot 23 and CP Lot 22 on Survey-Strata Plan 45225, Cowaramup Bay Road, Cowaramup, limiting future use as a dam and for the purpose of Private Recreation.
Plans and documents setting out and explaining the Scheme Amendment have been deposited at the Shire Offices, 41 Wallcliffe Road, Margaret River and will be open for inspection during office hours or the document can be viewed below:
Submissions on the Scheme Amendment may be made in writing on Form No. 4 and lodged with the undersigned on or before 28 DECEMBER 2017.
This Amendment is available for inspection in order to provide an opportunity for public comment and it should not be construed that final approval will be granted.
