NOTICE OF ORDINARY MEETING OF COUNCIL – 8 MAY 2019, 5.30pm

 

The next Ordinary Meeting of Council will be held at 5.30pm on Wednesday 8 May 2019 in Council Chambers, 41 Wallcliffe Road, Margaret River.  Items which may be considered at the meeting include*:

Restricted Burning Period – 18 March 2019 to 12 May 2019 (unless varied)

The Prohibited Burning Period will be SUSPENDED at Midnight (2400hrs) on Sunday, 17 March 2019.

During the Restricted Burning Period, burning may only be undertaken with a valid Permit issued by an authorised Bush Fire Control Officer.

The Local Emergency Management Committee Meeting will be held in the Margaret River Council Chambers, 41 Wallcliffe Road Margaret River on Wednesday 15 May commencing at 4.30pm.

Details of the above proposal is available for inspection at the Shire Office during normal office hours.  Any person wishing to comment should do so in writing or by email to spdplanning@amrshire.wa.gov.au on or by the closing date as indicated above, with all submissions quoting the relevant application number.  You may wish to download the Submission Form.  This proposal has been advertised to provide an opportunity for the public to comment.  The Shire will determine the application on its merits having due regard to any submissions received within the advertising period.

The Shire of Augusta Margaret River are removing and replacing the existing Western verandah adjacent to the Margaret River Tennis/ Junior Football Club change rooms.

These works are expected to commence 23 April 2019 and last approximately six weeks.
