Community Consultation

The Shire of Augusta Margaret River is currently reviewing our Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) and is calling on community members for comments and feedback. The Shire welcomes feedback on the following:

·         Access to services and events

·         Access to buildings and facilities

·         Access to information

·         Quality of service from staff

·         Making complaints

·         Access to participate in public consultation

·         Access to obtain and maintain employment

Input into the new DAIP from people with a disability, family members, carers and support organisations is vital to ensure we are creating an inclusive and people friendly shire to live, work and visit. We are seeking input through a survey, storytelling and two community workshops.
