Please aware of possible dangers on your property — fire-damaged trees may drop branches, smouldering logs may reignite, peat soils may be hot.

For instances of fire-damaged asbestos, please contact the Shire for information and assistance.

Burnt bins will be replaced by the Shire free-of-charge in the event they are not covered by insurance.

A Shire-contracted arborist has inspected road reserves and is completing works as required.

There may be ash, debris and residual fire retardant on roofs around the fire zone. It is recommended to disconnect gutters to allow rains to wash these away before reconnecting. If you suspect fire retardant has entered your water supply, please do not drink it, and contact the Shire.

Contact the Shire for a replacement rural property number if yours has been damaged
