The deadline for funding applications across a range of Shire of Augusta Margaret River grant programs is fast approaching, with applications in areas like community development, events, environment and more due 20 April.
The funding forms part of the Shire of Augusta Margaret River's $1.1 million grant package announced last month.
Shire Corporate and Community Director James Shepherd said a wide variety of projects and initiatives were set to benefit from the funding package, which had expanded substantially in 2021/22.
“This financial year, we've increased the total budget allocation for external funding by $127,000," he said.
"This allows us to support more organisations, groups and events in making our community an even better place to live, work and play."
Applications for the following funding programs close at 2pm, Tuesday 20 April 2021:
Mr Shepherd said multi-year funding options were available in several of these categories.
