Anyone wanting to get a first hand account of the WA State Government budget for 2021-22 is invited to attend a special community budget lunch event on Friday 10 September 2021 at Margaret River HEART.
Jointly hosted by the South West Development Commission, the Shire of Augusta Margaret River and the Margaret River Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the event is set to include an address by the Hon Amber-Jade Sanderson MLA, Minister for Environment; Climate Action; Commerce, who will then participate in a Q & A session with Warren-Blackwood MLA Jane Kelsbie and South-West MLC Jackie Jarvis.
Shire of Augusta Margaret River CEO Stephanie Addison said the budget lunch was an opportunity for the community to engage face to face with State elected members and gain more insight into what the WA budget will mean for the local community.
“The WA budget is obviously a significant announcement each year, and we welcome the Minister’s commitment to visiting Margaret River to personally present to our community” she said.
“We hope by having a budget lunch our local residents will feel more aware, educated and engaged.”
