On 13 September 2021, the Shire of Augusta Margaret River will open applications for a range of grants programs for events and initiatives taking place in the 2021-22 Financial Year.

The grants aim to recognise and support the vital contribution of community and business to the social, environmental, cultural and economic fabric of the community.

This will be the inaugural launch of the Sustainable Economy Grants (up to $10,000) to support outcomes from the recently endorsed Sustainable Economy Strategy.

Programs offering second rounds include:

  • Community Development and Events Grants ($2,000-$12,000)
