Playground Renewal

The Shire of Augusta Margaret River advises that the play unit located in the park on Jacaranda Crescent will be replaced as part of a 10 year renewal program.  

The installation of the new play unit, pictured below, will occur early in 2021.

The fine sand soft-fall will also be replaced at this time with soft-fall pine chip.  Additional works will be completed to the soft-fall surround enclosing two of the three entrance areas to reduce the amount of soft-fall loss.

These works are part of the Shire of Augusta Margaret River’s playground replacement program. Equipment over 10 years old will be replaced to ensure it is safe and in line with Australian Standards.  We will be replacing with units that match as near as possible to current dimensions and type that exist and to meet the requirements of AS 4685 Playground Equipment.
