Poetry Reading From 'Who Comes Calling?', Miriam Wei Wei Lo's New Book

Miriam lived in Margaret River for 11 years (some of you might remember her as Miriam Lochore), and many of the poems in this collection are set in Margaret River. Miriam loves to perform her work and we are honoured that she will present her poetry to a local audience. Her poems are accessible and engaging and should appeal, not only to those who identify with her faith perspective, but also to those who are interested in embodied female experience, to lovers of poetry, and to anyone who likes to ask big questions. After her poetry reading, guests will gain insight into Miriam's work and poetry through an interview style conversation with Ana Brawls.

The presentation is followed by light refreshments and the chance to mingle and purchase a copy of Miram's new book. Please RSVP to reserve a seat by email to [email protected] or call 08 9780 5600.
