“Rejuvenation” is a tribute to the resilience of the community and to the resilience of nature. It is symbolic of the regenerative and healing powers of both. The shell like base reflects our proximity to the ocean, and the uplifting spiritual benefit that its untouched beauty continually brings us. The spiral pattern has long been associated with the cycles of time, the seasons, and the cycles of birth, growth, death and rebirth. Some consider the spiral to be a symbol of our spiritual journey. It is also considered to represent the evolutionary process of learning and growing. The cycles of time are cycles of life.
