Applications for Sustainable Economy Grants are currently closed. 

Sustainable Economy Grants support greater environmental and social wellbeing within the local economy, in line with the outcomes of the Sustainable Economy Strategy.  

Grants of up to $11,000 (inc GST) are available and must align with one of the following priority areas:

  1. Circular economy
  2. Fair and inclusive economy
  3. Vibrant townsites
  4. Successful and resilient economy

2022-23 Grant recipients

Successful recipients of  Sustainable Economy Grants for 2022-23 include: 

Margaret River Wine Association for sustainability and organic certification training program $11,000, Margaret River Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MRCCI) for an incubator program for start-up businesses and a business advisory and workshop program $11,000 and Sunny in Margs for a composting service $1,540. All amounts include GST.
