About the opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for a Finance Coordinator to join the Shire’s Finance team. 

Reporting to the Manager Corporate Services and overseeing a team of finance officers, you will be responsible for coordinating financial management services, rating and revenue, indirect tax, insurance, operational planning, and reporting.


Finance Coordinator (HR 59/24) 

  • Continuing Full-Time, 76 hours/ fortnight 
  • EA Level 7/8 ($87,706 - $99,758 per annum)

Position description and selection criteria

Finance Coordinator Position Description

The successful candidate will have a tertiary or diploma level qualification in Finance or Accounting and experience in local government rating and revenue services. 

Honed communication and people management skills alongside an advanced MS Excel and report writing capabilities are fundamental for success in this rewarding role.
