The Shire conducts a community survey every three years to understand the community’s level of satisfaction with our services and performance. The survey provides the Shire with quantitative and qualitative data to review and improve Shire operations. This survey is completed by an independent third party who uses a randomised extract of the Shire’s rates database. 

2023 Community Perception Survey

The MARKYT Community Scorecard has now closed. All community members aged 14 years or older were invited to take part. 


The study is being conducted by CATALYSE Pty Ltd, an independent company. Responses will remain private and confidential in accordance with the Privacy Act.

The ‘Overall Performance Index Score’ is a combined measure of the Shire as a ‘place to live’ and as a ‘governing organisation’.
 

The Shire's overall performance index score is 69 out of 100, which is 3 index points above the industry standard for Western Australia.

Moving forward, the community would like the Shire to prioritise:
