About Stephanie
Stephanie has been the CEO for the Shire since July 2019, and has the responsibility for delivery of Council-endorsed plans and Shire operations, supported by the Executive Leadership Team.
She came to the Shire from the City of Bunbury where she served as the Director of Corporate and Community Services for almost seven years and the Director Sustainable Development for 12 months. Whilst at Bunbury she steered a range of major city projects, strategies and initiatives and oversaw multiple departments. She was also a Board Member of Bendigo Bank (Capel and Donnybrook Community Banks) whilst at the City of Bunbury.
From 2004 to 2011, Stephanie was at the City of Mandurah where she worked in senior roles managing and delivering a range of portfolios including strategy, corporate performance, organisational culture, economic development, tourism and marketing.
Prior to arriving in Australia, she worked for Lonely Planet, the global and independent travel guide publisher, where she was the UK office manager for a London-based global office which managed publications for countries and regions in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. She also spent some time working for a start-up consulting firm in London, supporting their work to evolve into the market.
Stephanie holds an BA (Hons) in Philosophy, as well as post graduate management studies.
