Temporary Works in Augusta, Hamelin Bay and Surrounds Residents and visitors in Augusta, Hamelin Bay and surrounding areas may experience delays due to filming of a television series. Please note: these dates are subject to schedule changes, due to weather. 

Augusta and surrounds

  • Friday 31 May: Cygnet Cres
  • Tuesday 4 June: Blackwood Ave, between Ellis St and Manning St
  • Friday 14 June: Leeuwin Rd, near Wishart Rd and the Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse precinct
  • Monday 17 June: Hillview Rd
  • Thursday 20 June and Friday 21 June: Victoria Parade
  • Monday 24 June & Tuesday 25 June: Blackwood Ave between Ellis St and Manning St
  • Wednesday 26 June: Victoria Parade
Over these dates various traffic control measures will be implemented at these sites to ensure the safety of the public and film crew. Any disruption will be kept as minimal as possible and will be signposted. People will be on site to assist with vehicle and pedestrian flow through the area and filming zones. 

Hamelin Bay 


Some delays may occur for visitors at Hamelin Bay on the following dates, weather permitting:
  • Monday 10 June to Thursday 13 June 2024
Stop / slow traffic management will be in place in some areas on the beach, as well as at the boat ramp and car park to facilitate a production. Pedestrian access through the Cape to Cape Track will also be managed, however there will be no complete closures.
