Turner Holiday Park

With the Blackwood River right at your doorstep, Turner Holiday Park is a beautiful spot for fishing, boating, swimming and enjoying the picturesque surrounds of the river mouth. 

Stingrays, dolphins and pelicans visit regularly, and the spectacular southern ocean is within walking distance. It’s also an easy stroll from the Augusta Town Centre.

Flinders Bay Holiday Park

Nestled on the shores of the magnificent Flinders Bay, Flinders Bay Holiday Park is the town’s only beachfront caravan park. The site serves as a brilliant base from which to explore this beautiful part of the southwest.

The park is situated 40km south of Margaret River and only minutes from the Augusta townsite.

Alexandra Bridge Campground

About Alexandra Bridge

Alexandra Bridge is a picturesque campground located on the banks of the Blackwood River.

The tranquil haven is home to a stunning array of bird species and wildlife. It’s the perfect camping experience for anyone who wants to relax in a peaceful, natural environment.

The river provides opportunities for swimming, canoeing, fishing and boating.

Getting there

Alexandra Bridge is located on Clarke Road, 26 kilometres northeast of Augusta. The turn off is 10 kilometres from Karridale. Turn off the Brockman Highway on to Clarke Drive (view Google Maps for directions).

Campground facilities

The campground has:

  • Toilets (with disability access)
  • Cold showers
  • Gas BBQ and shelter
  • Picnic tables
  • Rubbish bins
  • Water
  • Boat ramp.

Please note: the campground does not provide a camp kitchen, laundry, hot water, power or a chemical dump point.

Dogs

Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash at all times.

Campsite bookings and fees

Alexandra Bridge can’t be booked. There are 21 sites to choose from on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please select a suitable site for your caravan, campervan, motorhome, tent or camper trailer. 

The following fees are payable via the self-registration box.

  • $10.00 per adult
  • $5.00 children (2-14 years).

Important note: Camping is not permitted in the day-use area by the river or anywhere outside of the designated campsites.

Check out time is 10:30am.

The maximum length of stay is 28 days within any 3 month period.

Campfires

Observe the campfire restrictions posted on site.

Campfires can only be lit in designated fireplaces and when fire restrictions are not in place. 

This is an environmentally sensitive area. Please do not collect firewood from the reserve. 

Remember, campfires can start bush fires. Do not leave your fire unattended, and extinguish campfires completely before leaving the site.
