Celebrate Children’s Book Week at your local library

Children’s Book Week is back from Saturday 22 to Friday 28 August, celebrating the books, stories, authors and illustrators that spark young imaginations across Australia

This year’s theme is Symphony of Stories, with artwork by Western Australian author and illustrator Briony Stewart.

Drop into Margaret River Library or Augusta Library during the week to browse the Children’s Book of the Year display and grab some free Book Week craft activities.

Children are also welcome to visit dressed as a favourite book character. Anyone who dresses up can enter the draw to win a Children’s Book Week prize pack. You may spot a few library staff in costume too.
