Plastic Free July – small swaps challenge

We’re inviting our community to take part in a simple challenge for Plastic Free July

This initiative is part of our Caring for Our Place program - supporting simple actions that help protect our environment.

Choose one small swap to reduce single-use plastic:
  • Bring a reusable cup
  • Bring your own bags
  • Use reusable containers / refillable jars
  • Or get creative and have some fun with other swaps that we may not have thought of!

How to enter:
  • Share a photo or video of your plastic-free swap on the Shire's Facebook competition post
  • Each photo/video = 1 entry
  • Enter as many times as you like throughout July
  • Open to Shire residents only

Prizes:
There are 4 x $100 vouchers to be won, from local businesses supporting Plastic Free July.
Winners will be announced in August.

Every small swap makes a difference - let’s do this together.

*By entering, you agree to your photo/video and first name being shared on Shire channels.

Plastic Free July Terms and Conditions
