Temporary closure – Margaret River Skate Park 

The Margaret River Skate Park will be temporarily closed from Monday 9 February 2026 for essential maintenance.  

The works are expected to take around two weeks and will include reroofing the shade structures, repairing and repainting metal components, topping up the playground softfall, pressure washing and a general tidy up. 

A full closure is needed to keep everyone safe during the works due to the height of the structures and the risk of falling materials.

All surrounding facilities — Lasa cafe, the Zone Room, the Scout Hall and the public toilets will stay open during the works. 

We know how much the community loves this space and appreciate your patience while we take care of these important upgrades.
