New exhibition in the Cocoon Gallery for emerging artists

Amy, a young artist from New Zealand has fallen in love with Australian wildlife. Passionate about art, she has been drawing since childhood.

Her latest exhibition showcases quirky depictions of animals and mammals, created using intricate dot work with black pen on paper.

Amy has always been drawn to creating art that pushes boundaries, which is why she has titled her exhibition DUST — “Dust meaning dots.”

Art brings Amy a sense of calm. “It’s like being in a loud room, then as soon as my pen hits the paper, the room becomes quiet and peaceful.”

These framed pen-and-ink drawings are on display at the entrance to the Margaret River Library’s Cocoon Gallery space until the end of June.

All artworks are available for purchase directly from the artist. Be sure to stop by and have a browse next time you visit the Library.
