Animal management facility

The Margaret River Animal Management Facility is designed to RSPCA guidelines and has nine individual dog holding pens, including two pens specifically designed to accommodate larger dog breeds. The facility is equipped with a cat room which can comfortably accommodate up to 10 cats and the enclosed outdoor areas allow rangers to exercise dogs off lead.

Opening hours for animal pick-up/drop-off

If you have found an animal or your animal has been impounded, it can be collected/dropped off to the Animal Management Facility Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am and 4pm, or by appointment on weekends.

Any applicable fees must be paid and your pet registered with the Shire prior to it being released.
