Acknowledgement of the passing of Surfing WA CEO Mark Lane

We are saddened to hear of the passing of Surfing WA CEO Mark Lane. 

Mark made a huge contribution to surfing in WA and had a lasting impact here in our community. He championed local surfers, clubs and events, helped grow the Margaret River Pro and supported the establishment of the WA Surf Gallery in Yallingup. 

His passion for surfing and genuine care for its people will be greatly missed.  

Our thoughts are with Mark’s wife, his family, friends and the wider surfing community.
