Bridge upgrade complete on Jindong-Treeton Road

Great news – the bridge upgrade on Jindong-Treeton Road is now finished

This was a big and complex project, replacing a 60-year-old timber bridge with a new concrete culvert. The new structure is safer, stronger and built to better handle heavy rainfall and high-water flows. 
The project also included improvements to the approaches of the crossing to increase road safety.

A huge thank you to everyone involved for the hard work and dedication to get this project completed. It’s a fantastic outcome for the community.

This important upgrade was fully funded by the Australian Government through the Roads to Recovery Program.
