Community invited to help shape Alexandra Bridge Hall playground renewal
We are planning to renew the playground at Alexandra Bridge Hall and are inviting community feedback to help shape the playground design.
The renewal will replace ageing equipment and provide a safe, welcoming and accessible local play space for the community and visitors.
The project is identified as a priority in the Shire’s Leisure Plan 2024 and Public Open Space Strategy 2024 and will be delivered in line with the Local A Playground classification. This classification guides the scale of the renewal, including the level of investment, type of play equipment and supporting facilities that can be provided.
Community feedback will help shape the playground design within the available budget and the level of service planned for the site. We want to hear who is likely to use the playground, including the ages of children in the local community, as well as preferred play experiences, suitable equipment, accessibility considerations, supporting facilities and any local character or theme people would like reflected in the space.
Feedback will be considered alongside safety, accessibility, maintenance, asset management and budget requirements before a final design is developed.
Residents, families, carers and community members are encouraged to share their ideas and priorities.

The survey closes at 11.59pm on 26 October 2026.
