EOI Now Open for Artist to Create Community Inspired Festive Banners

Exciting opportunity for a local artist 

Local artists are invited to apply for an exciting opportunity to create high-visibility public artwork in the heart of Margaret River

The Shire of Augusta Margaret River is calling for Expressions of Interest from local creatives to design a new series of banners that celebrate the festive season in a way that is meaningful to our community.

The project will see the successful artist run one to two creative workshops with school aged children, with their ideas brought together in professionally finished festive banners celebrating the Augusta Margaret River region. 

The final artworks will be installed along Margaret River’s main street in the lead-up to Christmas and throughout the peak tourist season.

This initiative will help create a vibrant streetscape during the holiday season, in a way that reflects our people and place to foster community spirit and a sense of connection, joy, and togetherness.

It’s also a fantastic opportunity for a local artist to gain exposure during the busiest time of the year.
