Firebreak Notice Review Community Jury

The Shire of Augusta Margaret River is reviewing our Firebreak Notice. The Notice sets obligations for how all private owners should prepare their properties to address the impact of fire. We want to ensure local fire management requirements are contemporary, effective, and reflective of community values.

As part of this process, we are convening a Community Jury, a demographically representative group of community members.

The Community Jury will work together to understand the issues and challenges and make recommendations to the Shires CEO on the content of the next Firebreak Notice.
