Have Your Say: Proposed Noise Management Plan for Augusta Margaret River Speedway
The Shire of Augusta Margaret River is seeking community feedback on a proposed Noise Management Plan for the Augusta Margaret River Speedway.

The Speedway has applied for approval of a Noise Management Plan under the Environmental Protection (Noise) Regulations 1997. If approved, the plan would replace the current Environmental Protection (Margaret River Speedway) Exemption Order 2000.

The proposed plan outlines how Speedway activities, noise monitoring, complaints management, reporting and community notifications would be managed into the future.

This consultation is about the proposed Noise Management Plan and how Speedway activities would be managed. It is not a proposal to close the Speedway or cease Speedway operations.

Feedback from residents, stakeholders and interested community members will be considered before a decision is made on the application.

The survey takes approximately five minutes and closes 27 August 2026.
