Margaret River Library closure coming soon – what you need to know

The library will be closed from Monday 23 February to Monday 16 March inclusive while essential works are carried out, including a full replacement of the ageing 1990s roof. We will reopen on Tuesday 17 March.

This short, scheduled closure is part of the Shire’s Asset Renewal Program and will help address ongoing leaks and improve the library experience for all users.

What’s closing

During this period, the entire Margaret River Library site will be fenced off, including the southern carpark.
All in person services will be unavailable, including:

  • Borrowing and returns at the desk
  • Public PCs, Wi-Fi, printing and scanning
  • Study spaces and meeting rooms
  • Programs, events and activities

Please note: The return chute will also be closed. Returns should be kept at home until we reopen.
