Notice of Intention to Levy Differential Rates 2026-27 Financial Year (revised)

The Shire of Augusta Margaret River is proposing revised differential rating categories for the 2026-27 financial year and their associated rate in the dollar and minimum payments (shown below) in response to submissions received.  This includes a new category for Hosted STRA that is above the residential rate but lower than that originally proposed for these properties.

The differential rating categories, rates in the dollar and minimum payments presented below replace those previously advertised on 28 May 2026.

• Margaret River Civic Administration Centre, 41 Wallcliffe Road, Margaret River between the hours of 9.00 am and 4.00 pm Monday to Friday
• Augusta Office, 66 Allnutt Terrace, Augusta between the hours of 9.00 am and 4.00 pm Tuesday to Thursday
• Margaret River Library, 16 Fearn Avenue, Margaret River, between 10.00 am to 3.00pm, Monday to Saturday 
• Augusta Library, 16 Allnutt Terrace, Augusta between 10.00am and 4.00 pm Tuesday to Thursday. 

Ratepayers and residents are invited to make a submission before 9am Wednesday 22 July 2026.
