Shire works watch: projects happening next week
SCOTT RIVER ROAD

Works will begin next week from Brockman Highway into the Scott River townsite and will include shoulder reconstruction on sealed sections near Brockman Highway, tree pruning, crushed limestone reconditioning, verge clean-up, table drain reinstatement and smoothing corrugated sections to improve driving conditions. Traffic management will be in place, please slow down and follow directions.

RYANS ROAD

Drainage renewal works are complete with new kerbs and asphalt resurfacing happening in the coming weeks.

WALLCLIFFE LOOKOUT

We are upgrading the Walcliffe Road lookout with works due to begin in mid-May. The lookout will be closed for approximately two weeks. 

WITCHCLIFFE TENNIS COURTS

Works to finish the court resurfacing start in mid-May.  These works are weather dependent and may be rescheduled if rain is forecast. The court works will take around 10 days, before line marking can be done to complete the job. The car park and playground will remain open as usual.

WIRRING ROAD

Maintenance works are happening on the sealed section of Wirring Road. Stop and go traffic control will be in place at times.

WADANDI TRACK

Maintenance and drainage works are in progress on a section of the Wadandi Track (south of Boodjidup Road to Gnarawarry Road) to improve the surface for winter. There may be some impacts to access during the works.

JINDONG-TREETON ROAD

Pipes have been installed and we will keep you updated as project milestones are achieved.
Road remains closed, with local access only. Thanks to everyone for driving safely and following detours.
