Projects happening across the region

Nillson Lane landscaping works
Landscaping works on the Shire reserve behind properties on Nillson Lane and Bretonneux Turn in Cowaramup are scheduled to begin next week. The works involve removing the existing hedging and replacing it with native vegetation. There will be no impacts to property access.

Treeton Road bridge works
Essential works to repair the bridge on Treeton Road, between Oldfield Road and Clayton Road have begun. The bridge will be completely closed, day and night, during the first week of works. The works will then move to a single-lane closure with trailer-mounted traffic lights operating during the day. Detours are in place, with local access maintained. Please plan ahead, consider alternative routes and follow signage.

Winter grading
Our Works team is continuing our winter grading program across our unsealed road network. Drainage and shoulder works are happening alongside grading. If you spot a road needing attention, please contact our Customer Service team or lodge a request online.

Shire-wide storm clean-up
Contractors have started major works to remove the remaining trees damaged in the recent storm across the Shire. Traffic control will be in place where needed, including some single-lane closures. Please follow directions and drive safely. These works only apply to trees recorded in the week following the storm, not previous or new damage. To report new damage or a hazard, please contact Customer Service or lodge a request online.
