Shire works watch: projects happening next week
BUSSELL HIGHWAY, MARGARET RIVER

There will be one day of road works on Bussell Highway, opposite the Rotary Park intersection on Wednesday 20 May. Only one lane will be open and stop and go traffic will be in place between 9.30am and 2.30pm.
Delays are expected. Please allow extra travel time and consider using John Archibald Drive as an alternative route.

SCOTT RIVER ROAD

Works are continuing from Brockman Highway into the Scott River townsite including tree pruning, verge clean-up, table drain reinstatement and smoothing corrugated sections to improve driving conditions. Traffic management is in place, please slow down and follow directions.

RYANS ROAD

New kerbs and asphalt resurfacing happening in the coming weeks. 

WALLCLIFFE LOOKOUT

We are upgrading the Wallcliffe Road lookout. It will be closed for approximately two weeks while works are carried out. 

WITCHCLIFFE TENNIS COURTS

Works to finish the court resurfacing start in mid-May. These works are weather dependent and may be rescheduled if rain is forecast. The court works will take around 10 days, before line marking can be done to complete the job. The car park and playground will remain open as usual.

WIRRING ROAD

Maintenance works are happening on the sealed section of Wirring Road. Stop and go traffic control will be in place at times.

WADANDI TRACK

Maintenance and drainage works are continuing on a section of the Wadandi Track, from south of Boodjidup Road to Gnarawary Road, to improve surface conditions ahead of winter. A section of the track will be closed for a few days next week, with detours in place.

JINDONG–TREETON ROAD

The first stage of concrete has been poured. Once the final two sections of concrete are done, we will begin road reinstatement and works to close out the project. Road remains closed, with local access only.
