After hours emergency only calls for flooding and/or fallen trees blocking Shire roads can be reported via 0409 805 255.

For life-threatening emergencies call 000. If your home has been badly damaged and you need help, call the SES on 132 500.

Shire works watch: projects happening next week
STATION ROAD

We will be completing footpath maintenance works along Station Road next week. Access to the car park at 40 Station Road will be temporarily impacted from Tuesday 2 June to Thursday 4 June, with the entry point closed while works are underway. Vehicles will be able to access the car park with the exit point operating as a two-way movement. 

WITCHCLIFFE TENNIS COURTS

The courts have been resurfaced and need time to set and cure before reopening. The car park and playground remain open as usual.

WADANDI TRACK

Maintenance and drainage works are continuing on a section of the Wadandi Track, north of Gnarawary Road, to improve surface conditions ahead of winter.

JINDONG–TREETON ROAD

We have started backfilling the new structure and reinstating the road including works to close out the project. Road remains closed, with local access only.

SCOTT RIVER ROAD

Works are continuing along Scott River Road from Brockman Highway including tree pruning, verge clean-up and table drain reinstatement. Traffic management is in place, please slow down and follow directions.

WIRRING ROAD

Maintenance works are happening on the sealed section of Wirring Road. Stop and go traffic control will be in place at times.
