Shire works watch: projects happening next week

Rotary Park

We’re doing drainage works at Rotary Park on Thursday 25 June. To allow space for large machinery, the northern end of the car park will be closed from 7.30am to 5pm with limited parking available. The playground and facilities will remain open.

Bussell Highway (Rotary Park area)

We’ll be removing storm damaged trees on Bussell Highway near Rotary Park next week. To get the work done safely, there will be a temporary lane closure in place between 9.30am and 2.30pm with traffic management on site. Works are expected to take one day. Please slow down and follow directions.

Memorial Park toilets

Building works are continuing at Memorial Park. The female toilets are open to the public and a temporary male toilet is available inside the main entrance. Some car park bays are closed during the works. 

Farmhouse Park

Works to renew the Farmhouse Park playground have started. The playground is temporarily closed during construction.

Wadandi Track

Maintenance and drainage works are continuing on a section of the Wadandi Track, north of Gnarawary Road, to improve surface conditions ahead of winter. These works will be ongoing until the end of June.

Winter grading

Our Works team has kicked off our winter grading program across our unsealed road network. Drainage and shoulder works are happening alongside grading. If you spot a road needing attention, please contact our Customer Service team or lodge a request online.
