Stories of resilience and travel: Author Joel Whitwell at Margaret River Library

Stories of resilience and travel: Author Joel Whitwell at Margaret River Library

Inspiring author talk with Joel Whitwell on Thursday 16 April from 6 - 7pm

Joel will be sharing stories from his new book, Spreading My Wings, a follow-up to his first memoir. The book continues his life journey from growing up in country Western Australia to travelling across Australia and overseas, and the friendships and lessons gathered along the way.

Woven through Joel’s stories are reflections on staying positive, facing adversity with hope, and finding the resilience to keep moving forward. It will be an honest and thoughtful conversation about life’s ups and downs, shared with warmth and humour.

Light refreshments will be provided after the talk, with the chance to purchase a signed copy of Spreading My Wings.

The event is free and open to all, and the Margaret River Library is an easily accessible venue.
