Street light replacements in Margaret River

We’re replacing two damaged street lights on the Margaret River main street, between Wallcliffe Road and Willmott Avenue, from Monday 20 April 2026 

To get this work done, we will need to temporarily close the north bound lane from 20 to 24 April, and again on Wednesday 29 April and Thursday 30 April. 

Closures will be in place 9am - 3pm to minimise impact to schools and parents. 

Detours will be in place. There will also be some stop and go traffic control in the southbound lane on Wednesday 29 April and Thursday 30 April while we are moving the crane. 

The Reuther car park will remain open and accessible via Fearn Avenue.

Works should be complete by the end of April, weather permitting. Please allow a little extra travel time or consider an alternative route.
