Giving time and talent to make our Shire a better place to live.
To coincide with National Volunteer Week, we want to recognise the people who make our Shire a better place to live. The people who give their time and talents to help our community thrive.
They organise community events and celebrations such as the Margaret River Christmas Street Party, the Margaret River Show, Augusta Whale Song Festival or the Gracetown Kite Festival.
They support community groups like River Angels, Mind-Ed and the Augusta Community Resource Centre.
They help you find your seat at HEART, coach our kids, or check you in at music festivals. And they’re there as part of our local fire brigades, SES, or ambulance crews when it matters most.
The Shire of Augusta Margaret River is proud to recognises the contributions of volunteers and the thousands of hours they dedicate each year to giving back to our community.
On behalf of our whole community - we say thank you.
