Unsealed road resheeting program to start across the Shire

We will soon begin our unsealed road resheeting program on selected unsealed roads from week commencing 28 September

Roads included in the program are Bell Road and Clayton Road, Treeton; Bramley River Road, Osmington; and Sebbes Road, Forest Grove. When we resheet a road, we add a fresh layer of gravel to help smooth out rough or damaged sections, improve safety and make the road last longer. Works may also include drainage maintenance and culvert replacements where needed.

Crews will be onsite from 7.30am – 5.30pm weekdays, and access will be maintained under stop/go traffic while works are underway. Please expect delays, plan ahead and allow extra travel time.

We choose roads for this program by checking our unsealed roads throughout the year and looking at road condition, use, nearby homes and businesses, safety, location and budget.
