Upcoming Memorial Park toilet works 

Building works at Memorial Park will begin next week (Monday 8 June 2026) following recent vandalism that resulted in the temporary closure of the male toilets

The project will focus on repairing and restoring the male toilet facilities and is expected to take approximately four weeks to complete.

During this time:

•    The female toilets will remain open to the public
•    A temporary male toilet will be available inside the main entrance (in the former parent room), with signage in place to assist visitors
•    Selected car parking bays will be closed for the duration of the works to accommodate construction activities
