Wallcliffe Road works

Repair of road surface

In February and March 2026 we will be working on Wallcliffe Road to repair the road surface between Tyrone Loop and Sandpit Road. 

Works will happen in two stages, with a gap in between where the road will be open as normal. 

Stage one (week commencing Monday 16 February for approx. 5 days): resurfacing 

Stage two (week commencing Monday 9 March and complete before Easter): shoulder works, line marking, audible edge lines 
 
The road will be closed between Tyrone Loop and Mansfield Avenue on Monday 16 February and Monday 9 March, with detours in place. Please take an alternative route if you can. 

Stop-and-go traffic management will be in place from 7am to 6pm on all remaining working days. 

Local residents and businesses within the work site will still be able to access their properties. 

These works are jointly funded by a Main Roads WA Regional Road Group Grant and the Shire.
 
These works are being carried out in accordance with sections 3.50 and 3.50A of the Local Government Act 1995, Part 3.
