What’s On Wadandi Boodja this December

Shire supported events happening this month

December marks the beginning of Birak, the Wadandi season of youth, and the start of summer in the South West. The longer, sunnier days call us outside to enjoy this incredible place we’re fortunate to call home, and to kick of the festive season connecting with family and friends on Wadandi Boodja.

And that’s exactly what’s on offer at the Love Christmas, Love Margaret River Street Party.  We’re thrilled to be the major sponsor of this community-led initiative organised by Radio Margaret River (RMR) which will see Margaret River’s Main Street come alive for a vibrant community celebration on Thursday 18 December.

This is just one of the FREE community events we’re proud to support this month to bring people together and our shared spaces to life, while strengthening our local businesses, artists and community groups. Check out the full list below!

Grab your family and friends, bring a picnic rug, and head to the Margaret River Senior High School Oval to sing under the stars and celebrate the spirit of the season.

19 Dec – Augusta Christmas Carols

Head to the Colour Patch foreshore from 4–7pm for Augusta’s annual Christmas Carols, featuring the Augusta Ukuleles, the Riverbugs and a special visit from Santa. A wonderful community evening for all ages.
