Celebrate the Leeuwin Biddi trail

The Leeuwin Biddi trail is almost complete! This 3.1 km dual-use path connects Dead Finish to Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, offering a safe and scenic route for walkers and cyclists of all ages and abilities.

We invite you to join us for a relaxed community celebration to thank the key community members who helped make this project possible:

• 10am: Community welcome and official speeches
• 10.30am: Group photo, then join the Shire President and CEO for a community ride or walk along the new trail

Bring your walking shoes, bikes or prams and explore Augusta’s spectacular coastline. If you’re riding, make sure your bike is ready to go!

• Coffee available at Rare Foods (allow time for your favourite brew before the celebration begins)
• Decorate your bike and add some flair before the ride
• Photos will be taken during the event, please advise the photographer if you do not wish for your photos to be shared with media
• Please note: carpark works are underway at Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse

The Leeuwin Biddi project was proudly supported by the Department of Transport through the WA Bicycle Network Grant and guided by environmental consultants to protect rare flora and fauna.
